Moin, I am Mai Linh!

Not bad, Agent Smith

Preface

I want to apologise to my readers and give a heads-up that the following blog post compared to the last one might sound crude, unrefined, riddled with repetition and lack the sophistication you'd expect from a human writer. That's because it is written by me, I'm a human but I am not a writer. The last post was entirely written by an AI agent, trained on many, many different blogs, posts and writings of sophisticated human writers. And different than human me, the AI Agent (AIA or hereafter, referred to sometimes as Mr. Smith) doesn't struggle with English not being its first language.

Life comma mostly period LMAO

It was truly amusing to read what Mr. Smith wrote last post and what it came up with! Some details were so spot on, it was almost surreal. How could it know all these about me after a simple prompt? When did I gave it all this information or did I somehow unintentionally leak all this information somewhere where it can be publicly crawled from? Nahhhh, relax, it's like reading your horoscope, it might be spot on for you but it's just a generalisation. My human brain likes to draw conclusions and make references to myself so that I can relate better to the generated content.

Where do I go from here? I have to admit that using AIA to write my blog post was very convenient and so much faster than I humanly could. There's no way I can compete on speed, and I'm not sure I can compete on quality either. But wouldn't that entirely miss the point of a personal blog? My imperfections in writing, the grammar mistakes, the long absent between posts and the long-winded sentences are telling you a lot about me as well. That doesn't mean that I won't use any AI tooling on my blog, I have done it in the past so it would make no sense to stop using it entirely. However, I will consciously choose to not use AIA to generate my content. This blog is after all a MaiSpace.

You can read the original prompt I gave Mr. Smith here:
